A few weeks ago we headed to the Utah State Fair for the first time ever! We found lots of fun things -- animals, farm country, legos, carnival rides, and lots of produce and handicrafts. Next year we plan on going to the rodeo, for sure! My favorite things were these giant pumpkins that dwarfed our kiddos.
Danny J especially loved petting the animals. He'd cry whenever he couldn't reach the ones that were in the back of their stalls! I, on the other hand, could hardly stand being around the livestock. Hot, sweaty stalls with smelly animals and flies were definitely not a favorite for this sick pregnant lady!
The baby pigs were cute, but oh, that POOR POOR Momma pig!
Nothing like carnival rides to make it a fun day!
Danny J made this Lego lion all by himself at the Lego station. Just kidding -- I built it and then took this picture. Just kidding. Who has the time and all the right color Legos to build this kind of thing?
